Rođen u Pontevedrau, svoje je umjetničko i dizajnersko obrazovanje započeo na Umjetničkoj školi Mestre Mateo u Santiagu, nastavio studijem dizajna proizvoda na EASD-u u Valenciji te usavršio znanje na svjetski poznatoj Scuola Politécnica di Milano. Radove Isaaca Piñeira odlikuje formalna i konceptualna jednostavnost, s naglaskom na intuiciju, funkcionalnost i učinkovitost kako u dizajnu tako i u proizvodnji. U svom radu primjenjuje strateški pristup dizajnu, kombinirajući estetiku s praktičnim razmatranjima o sustavu proizvoda i njegovim mogućnostima proizvodnje, tako da dobiveni rasvjetni predmeti i namještaj budu impresivni i otporni na trendove tijekom vremena.
